Although some of us might still be under the impression of an extraordinary European Championship, we have to forget about the past and look towards the future. Look towards Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil, where the 2014 Football World Cup will take place.
The World Cup Qualifiers start in only a few hours, and, after taking our time to introduce you in the online mobile betting world, we think we should now go from theory to practice for the first time. In the following lines we will talk about three of the most important football games of today, and we will try to offer you a hopefully lucrative tip for each of those matches, courtesy of our friends from Gamebookers.
1. Wales – Belgium
Neither Wales, nor Belgium have managed to qualify for the Euro 2012, but that doesn’t mean these teams are not to be reckoned with. Belgium finished third in the Group A of the Euro qualifying, after Germany and Turkey, while Wales finished only fourth in Group G, behind England, Montenegro and Switzerland.
The Belgians seem like the rather clear favorites for a win (1.80 odds at Gamebookers), but the Brits are very dangerous on their home pitch, so we seem them capable of at least getting a draw from this game.
Our tip: double chance 1X (1.95 odds)
2. Bulgaria – Italy
The Italians have had a very impressive showing at the Euro 2012, which can be both an advantage and a disadvantage for the match against Bulgaria. Pirlo and the rest of the guys could be very relaxed going into this game, especially thinking that the Bulgarians finished last in their Euro qualifying group, behind England, Montenegro, Switzerland and Wales. Still, Bulgaria looks like it might need a miracle to get out of this game with something, and we don’t believe in miracles so early on in a qualifying campaign.
Our tip: Italy wins (1.60)
3. Latvia – Greece
Greece and Latvia played in the same Euro 2012 qualifying group, with both of their matches being very tight. The Greeks came out on top on their home pitch, with a narrow 1-0 win, but in Riga they came very close to lose, managing to grab a 1-1 tie with a late goal scored in the 84th minute of the game. That said, we wouldn’t exactly venture into wagering on a good result for Latvia today, but we think a safer bet could be on few goals or on a draw at halftime.
Our tip: under 2.5 goals (1.57 odds)
