Unibet mobile web interface review and presentation ( for Android and Iphone touchscreen devices)

Unibet is an old and well-known by now online gambling company, operating from Malta, ever since 1997. Most of you are accustomed with their website, their endless betting categories, and flawless service. However, when it comes to mobile betting through the smartphone or tablet browser there is some room for improvement.

You can choose to log in right there or do it later, if you want to browse for bets that might interest you first.

I am just gonna go and check out the Betting area before registering an account. On this section’s home screen you have everything you need, starting from the top with Live bets, and continuing with popular categories, other categories and finally a combined ticket which is recommended by the system and is being updated from time to time.

There’s two easy steps to complete, first select your country and than carry on to the next step where you will have to fill in your personal details. There’s a Promotional Code box in there so it would be a good idea to check the desktop version of the website for special offers before completing your registration.

Once you hit the submit button and you’re new account is created, you will be redirect to the Payment methods section. Now, out of all the apps and mobile web portals I’ve seen, this must be the poorest in terms of payment and withdrawal methods. Although the ever-popular Credit/Debit Card is there for both deposits and withdrawals, the only other method available for deposits is Neteller. And don’t get too excited when you see Phone deposit/withdrawal, like I did. This is also for adding money to your account with a credit/debit card, only here, instead of typing the details yourself, you can place a phone call to the Unibet call center and the operator will ask for your bank card details to deposit the money on your behalf.

Now that we are logged in and we have money in our account, it is time to check out which bets arouse the most interest. I’d like to point out that I really like the folder path displayed on top of the page so I can go wherever I want, without hitting the back button all the time. Another cool thing is that as soon as you click on a bet, you will see the upper edge of the Betslip popping up at the bottom of the screen. Just click on it, once you’re done selecting your bets, and it will show up in full screen. The Betslip is pretty standard, you have the single tab and the combination tab for multiple bets, both accompanied by all the basic information you need.

Unibet‘s smartphone web interface is nothing too fancy but it gets the job done. I would really like to see more deposit and withdrawal options in there since this is the major drawback. Some preferences would be nice as well, where you can change the language or setup predefined stakes to make things easier for the avid player.
