The UK bookmakers have received the highest award for their iPhone mobile app at the International Gaming Awards last week, bagging the title of Mobile Operator of the Year.
On top of that, they have also been selected by the eGaming Review magazine to take part in the EGR Mobile product of the year competition.
William Hill’s mobile app has recorded tremendous success amongst sports betting fans, having the largest number of downloads in the industry at somewhere over 600.000, recorded in the Apple Store, which gained them a four-star rating.
At the same time, great reviews have also been received for the new iPad app, released last December for the growing number of tablet users.
One of the judges at the International Gaming Awards has commented on the win saying : “William Hill iPhone App has shown a dedication to their mobile offering that has made it, and the company, a standout provider to customers in this sector. The most significant reason for William Hill being voted best mobile provider at the 6th IGA is the ease of use for customers, which is what makes them such a great operator. William Hill are able to anticipate the needs of their customers and make them available in a great and user friendly way.”
The proudest person behind these awards is undoubtedly Juergen Ruetter, William Hill’s Director of Mobile, which also stated the following : “We believe our mobile product to be best in class, whatever sport, game, or product you wish to bet on and we’re delighted to have this recognized by the judges at the recent IGA ceremony.”
While we definitely appreciate the efforts carried by William Hill to develop such a great and friendly app for Apple users, we are also eagerly awaiting some improvements in the Android department.
